Pomme de neige, documentation of the performance, 2022
In 'Pomme de neige,' the artist immerses herself in the seemingly simple and absurd act of shaping a snowball, only to bite into it, transforming it into an ephemeral fruit.  The gesture, repeated with intention, becomes a philosophical act that questions the relationship between the human body and the transience of matter.  Snow, a symbol of impermanence, dissolves in her hands and mouth, evoking reflections on the consumption of the landscape, the absurdity of daily life, and the inevitability of transformation.  The white space of winter becomes a stage for a silent dialogue between being and becoming.
